CLINICAL DIRECTOR / PRINCIPAL MUSCULOSKETAL & SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Vineet is a founding member of Ace Physio & Sport and is a passionate and well-rounded physiotherapist who brought along a wealth of experience after working as a physiotherapist for 20 years.
Before joining the Ace Physio & Sport Physiotherapy clinic in Singapore, he built a robust knowledge and clinical base through his time in hospitals such as Tan Tock Sen Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Mount Elizabeth Hospital. As a senior physiotherapist, he worked in outpatient musculoskeletal clinics and sports clinics. His involvement included developing clinical practice guidelines for shoulder, knee, and lower back conditions and supervising junior and student physiotherapists. He was also involved in a leadership role to manage a rehab department with a team of rehab professionals.
His strong background in musculoskeletal and sports medicine has given him a deep understanding of managing musculoskeletal, sports, and orthopedic conditions. Vineet has received valuable training in his master’s in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from Nottingham University, UK (2005). He has attended sports clinics in the UK and Singapore and had the opportunity to work with eminent specialists in the area. In order to broaden his knowledge and skills, he worked as a senior sports physiotherapist for Sports Singapore for three years, covering basketball, soccer, athletics, and cricket on a national and international scale. In 2013, Vineet led a team of medical personnel during the SEA Games, working closely with the medical team to provide immediate care to Singapore athletes. Currently, I am involved in Singapore rugby and cricket, providing pitch-side medical support.
Vineet is focused on evidence-based therapy and using the latest research to get the best outcome. He is dedicated to the whole body and provides holistic treatment. He uses a variety of treatment techniques, such as manual therapy (joint mobilization and manipulation), trigger point release, focused stretching, and strengthening. He believes that patients should be cared for not only for their current injury but also for future injury prevention.
